Cosmetic Dentistry

Constructing a Great Smile: Where Science Meets Artistry

Using advanced cosmetic dental techniques and state of the art technology, Dr. Easley and his team can make incredible changes to your appearance. Revealing a person’s best smile takes a combination of science and artistry.  Even subtle adjustments to your smile can make a world of difference in your looks, confidence, and self-esteem. Common cosmetic treatments include:

Porcelain Veneers

Porcelain veneers are thin shells of ceramic that bond directly to the front surface of the teeth. They are an ideal choice for improving your smile and have become increasingly popular due to their simplicity and versatility. When bonded to teeth, ultra-thin veneers are almost undetectable and highly resistant to coffee, tea, and even cigarette stains.

Teeth Whitening

Teeth Whitening Dr. Easley and his team offer two options for teeth whitening. Our professional laboratory-made bleaching trays and disposable Opalescence trays.

Implants & Restoration

Constructing a Great Smile: Where Science Meets Artistry

Dental implants are made to provide a structure for replacement teeth that look, feel, and work like natural teeth. Before the development of dental implants, dentures were the only alternative to replacing a missing tooth or teeth. Today with implants, a person who has lost teeth will regain the ability to eat virtually anything and can smile bigger and better than ever before.

No matter what age, even those with existing medical conditions, gum disease, problematic teeth, denture-wearers, smokers, or those with bone loss, there is a dental implant solution for you!

About Implants

What are implants?

Implants are synthetic structures that are placed in the area of the tooth normally occupied by the root. They are anchored to the jawbone or metal framework on the bone and act as a foundation for an artificial tooth or permanent bridge. In some cases, implants can be used to attach dentures.

Eligibility

Not everyone is a candidate for a dental implant. For a successful implant to take hold, a candidate must have proper bone density and a strong immune system. In all cases, dental implants require strict oral hygiene.

Structure

Implants are so well designed that they mimic the look and feel of natural teeth, and are usually made of a synthetic yet biocompatible material like metal or ceramic.

The Implant Procedure

Surgery is necessary to prepare the area for the placement of an implant. Following the procedure, a period of time is required for the implant to take hold and for bone tissue to build up and anchor the device. After a period of healing time, a permanent crown, or precision attachment will then be added to the implant. Like any restoration, implants require diligent oral hygiene and proper care to ensure longevity.
